02/27/2011 Baby Shower #1

 Today I delivered 35 baby shower invitations to my good friend Melissa who is hosting a baby shower for a mutual friend of ours, Heather.  The baby's room is painted in colors that are very close to Certainly Celery and Soft Suede with a puppy theme. 

Heather made a real cute baby blanket with the same colors  and
adorable little puppies.  When I saw the blanket, I just knew I had to use the puppy from the Every Little Bit stamp set.  Don't you just love the Very Vanilla on Very Vanilla combination?  It is so clean looking.  Of course I had to use my Sizzix Top Note die on this one. 








02/27/2011 Baby Shower #2

 

When I first became a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator over 4 years ago, I was asked by my friend Connie to make baby shower invitations for a friend of hers that was hosting a shower.  It was only after I agreed to it that I learned that the expecting mom was the wife of a high school friend of my husband and mine.  Actually, to be more accurate, the high school friend was my husband's best friend's older brother.  We hadn't seen them in years so it was a nice little surprise to find out they were having another baby. 

   











02/27/2011 Baby Shower #3



Unfortunately, back then I didn't make an invitation for myself to keep.  I didn't even take a photo of it.  I so wish I would have because it was very adorable.  I used a light purple for the card base, stamped a cute little flower, colored it in, did the actual printing on vellum and secured it with a little ribbon and brad.  I think I'll try to recreate the invitation within the next month.  So come back soon to take a look at it.

Vote For Your Favorite Wedding Set

I'M SSSOOOOO EXCITED!  I have been updating my Wedding Invitation Portfolio and have added 5 new wedding invitations/ensembles in the last week.  On Wednesday morning I had a meeting with my wedding coordinator to deliver the portfolio, for she was meeting with a bride later in the day. 

I still had one more wedding ensemble on my desk not quite finished but knew I would have it done that day.  When I did finish it, I delivered it to my wedding coordinator who was meeting with the potential bride/client.  When the bride saw it she fell in love with it!  "What does it look like?" you ask.  Well, it's one of the invitations I will be making at my Do It Yourself Wedding Invitation Class.  The invitation set is the 05-19-2012 Wedding.  I will be making another set at the class but have yet to decide which one to do.

Today we will be making three $ Boxes.  "What is a $ Box?", you ask.

It is actually a gift.  It is a box with a pull tab, attached to the tab is a line of $1 bills.

04-25-2010 Wedding Slide Show using My Digital Studio

Here are photos from the wedding ensemble that I did in April 2010.  This was a fun invitation to make.  I found the design in the Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog 2009-2010.  Sorry for the quality of the slide.  This is the first one I have ever made and know there is room for improvement.  I used My Digital Studio from Stampin' Up!  Which you can get for 50% off right now through November 30th.  Hope you like it!  Please feel free to leave a comment.  Also, be sure to check out my Upcoming Events/Classes page to see the classes I am holding next weekend.
